| Wilderness: At Mill Creek Trail, you can immerse yourself in an urban wilderness. |
| Wildlife: 260 species of birds use the area. Migratory shore birds can be found, along with a variety of waterfowl who use
it for breeding and watering. |
| Rare Forrest: A unique feature of the Mill Creek area is the remnant of the white cedar forest. A archeological paper done in the 1930s documented the extent of the cedar bog. |
